Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Kidd's! Brianna enjoyed Christmas this year. She didn't really get into opening the packages yet, but she loved the toys inside. She loved seeing all the family. But she was dealing with some teething so she didn't feel good some of the time. :(

Getting ready for Christmas

We have been busy getting ready for Christmas! It is a lot harder to do with Brianna around. I guess that's why I haven't posted any pictures in awhile.

Here are some outtakes from trying to get a picture of Brianna for the Christmas card.
Mmm- glass ornaments. Yes one did break during this photo session, but no one was hurt. :)She did not want to look at the camera. You'll have to wait for your card in the mail to see the final version.
And here is our Christmas tree this year with a new decoration added. :)

Family Update

Now for a family update- Jeremy finished his last UHCL class and graduated with his Masters in Educational Mid-Management! Yeah! We are so proud of him.
Brianna is doing well. You can see her two teeth in this picture and she has a new tooth on top. She also took two steps today! She's trying to walk. She is very active, she won't sit in your lap and let you read a book and she won't let you hold her for long. She is really enjoying her new gymboree class we signed up for! They said most kids are shy at first, but she was climbing all over the first day.
Rebecca is feeling well with this pregnancy. Never got sick. She is at 18 weeks, showing, and should find out if it is a boy or girl the beginning of January!

I got to see the Space Shuttle!

I work on the Space Shuttle software, but I've never been able to see the shuttle in person- till now! On Dec. 11th Shuttle Endeavour, bolted atop a Boeing 747 carrier aircraft, passed over Houston and the Johnson Space Center on its way back to Florida. It landed in California this last mission, so it has to be brought back to Florida. They did a special low fly-over so that all the employees could see it! It was so neat-it flew by 3 times and once it went right over my head. I work in the red building there in the picture.

Snow at our house!

Yes, it snowed at our house on Dec. 10th! It was so neat! Brianna saw her first snow, but it was too cold and wet to get a picture of her in it. :)

Hurricane Ike Update

We finally got the work completed on our home from the Hurricane Ike damage! The new roof was done in one day and the inside work took 4 weeks. Our house has been a mess for a long time and we are ready to put that behind us. All we have left is to hang some pictures and repair the back fence.

And here is our new study- new walls, ceiling, floor. This is the room that the ceiling fell in.

We also had some changes to our master bathroom- new tile and paint.

Thanksgiving

Sorry these pictures are posted late, but we did have a good Thanksgiving with our families.

Brianna enjoyed seeing Uncle Chris and playing with her cousins. :)

Happy 1st Birthday Brianna!

Brianna turned one on Saturday!! She had fun at her first birthday party at a park by our house!

She is doing great. She is sleeping great, pulling up, walking along furniture some, she likes to put toys in a bucket, and she said 'no' and 'uh-oh'. :)
