Family Beach Vacation

This year for our family beach vacation we went to Port Aransas! The beach sand was beautiful and the water was clear! The first year we did this I was pregnant with Brianna, so we have been doing it for awhile now! :)

The drive was 6 hours! The kids slept some of the way. :)

Here are all the cousins excited to stay in the 3bdr condo right on the beach all together!

Here we are in front of one of the beach shops!

Here we all are at lunch overlooking the water!

The kids loved renting these cars!

Brady still loved driving trucks on the sand. :) Brianna loved the water!

We took a boat ride to see dolphins, we saw lots of them!

Jeremy teaching the kids to fish!

Thanks again to Gigi and Grandpa!

Summer update

This has been a wonderful summer! Because last summer Jeremy was looking for a job and the summer before we were moving, we have really enjoyed this summer of fun, relaxing, quality family time together! We have been going to the YMCA pool a lot, going to the museum, going to VBS, some birthday parties, having fun with our cousins and friends, and going on vacation! Brianna took swim lessons and did a great job and loved it! We have an ice cream truck going through our neighborhood this year, the kids think that is so fun! We celebrated our 12th anniversary with a date night to the outdoor Brazos Nights concert and the kids had a sleepover at Uncle Chris and Aunt Sharon's! Also I have been teaching Mother's Day Out two days a week at First Woodway Baptist Church in the two year old class this summer and my kids have enjoyed going too, they love playing with their friends, we call it summer school. :) We love having Daddy home and lots of Daddy time this summer!

Here is a picture I forgot to post of Brianna in her ballet recital in May! She did a great job!

Here is Brady and Brianna at a spash park, they both love those this year! They both love being in water this summer. Also they are the same size, both wear a 4T, it's so cute!

Here we are in our First Woodway VBS shirts! I helped with the 5 year old class and my kids loved their classes!

Here we are on the Fourth of July at the Belton parade!

Here is the kids first trip to the Alamo!

Having fun on the Riverwalk!

The boat ride was fun!

Here are the kids at their first Circus! It was cool and we got to sit close since it was at a smaller arena in Waco!

We are enjoying ourselves and are not ready for summer to end! Daddy goes back to work in August and Brianna and Brady start Preschool at First Woodway after that!

Sea World Vacation

We took the kids to Sea World San Antonio for the first time and we had a blast!
We went on a weekday so it really wasn't too crowded and we got to cool off in the Sesame Street slash pad play area so we weren't too hot either.
Here we are waiting to see Shamu! They loved the shows esp. the ones with Elmo in it and the kiddie rides were fun too! They rode their first kiddie roller coaster and they both liked it!
And the kids loved meeting the Sesame Street characters! We found Count first and Brianna only wanted to give him a high five and Brady stayed away. But then they warmed up and gave hugs to Zoe and Rosita.

Brianna came up with the idea to give Cookie Monster a cookie so we brought one with us and she got to give it to him, it was so cute! Brianna asked later why they were so big? :)

Brady's 3rd Birthday

Brady is 3 years old! He keeps saying he's a big boy now, he's so cute!
We had his party at Poage park and it was so fun.
Here is Uncle Chris teaching Brady to put up 3 fingers.
Here's Brady blowing out the candle, he had 12 kids at his party!
Big sister Brianna got icing all over her.
Here they are doing the egg walk :)
Opening presents and a hug from cousin Kyler :) He got lots of neat toys!
Hiting the pinata! No one got hurt but it was close! :)
Disney Cars is his favorite movie, and he loves hotwheels cars too.
Mommy got to bring him cupcakes to Mother's day out too and he was so excited!

Brady is doing so well, he sleeps really soundly in his big boy bed, he still takes a nap, but he falls asleep best in the car and I can carry him to bed and he stays asleep, he is doing well with potty training, he loves superheros esp. wearing superhero shirts, he eats well, he drinks a ton of apple juice, he loves to play soccer and be outside, and he loves playing with 'Bre-na', he's a happy, sweet boy and we are very blessed!
Height: 39 3/4 inches 90%
Weight: 36.6 lbs. 90%
Brianna weighs 1 lb. more than Brady, but Brady is 1/4 in. taller than Brianna! So funny that they are the same size!

Easter Weekend

Here we are dressed up for church, but Brady was sick so he stayed home with Daddy. :(

The kids had fun finding their eggs and easter baskets easter morning! The easter bunny hid their eggs all over the house.

Here is Brianna's easter egg hunt at Harris Creek mother's day out.

She was excited about it.

Brady had fun at his easter egg hunt too.

We went camping over the weekend too. We stayed in a screen shelter in Meridian State Park. It was beautiful there, we had a good time even though the kids didn't sleep very well.

Hammock time with Daddy!

The bluebonnets were everywhere!

Spring Break

This spring break we mostly stayed home and started potty training Brady. But we did take a break and go camping at Lake Whitney! The kids loved it, they walked in their water boots in the water, did some fishing, Brady loved throwing rocks in the water, Brianna loved roasting marshmallows. There were also some beautiful bluebonnets there. But it was really windy and that made sleeping in the tent too loud for Brianna, she woke up about every hour so that was a bummer, no one got much sleep.

B&B's Treehouse

We found this great playset on craig's list and the kids love it! They call it their treehouse. :) Daddy, Uncle Chad, Uncle Chris, and Grandpa helped take it apart and rebuild it, it was a big project, but we are so happy with the result! Jeremy even expanded the sandbox and added the rock wall and I painted the whole thing!
