Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend here. The kids got to have Easter egg hunts at Mother's Day Out and we took them to the mall to see the Easter Bunny. They enjoyed that! They also loved their Easter baskets full of all kinds of candy and we hid some eggs for them to find in the living room on Easter morning. Here they are dressed up for church. :)

Life in Waco

We have just finished unpacking and things are getting back to normal! We have been in our new home for about a month now and we've been in Waco for over 6 months now. We are really enjoying it here! We love the weather, the smaller town, no traffic, the country feel. We have found a good church and joined a lifegroup. I am also loving being a stay-at-home mom! The kids and I have a lot of fun playing at home and in the backyard, going for walks, doing crafts. We have also kept busy going to a women's Bible study, mother's day out, and MOPS this year. We also love playdates and seeing our cousins! Sometimes the kids like to get in our bed in the morning and watch Dora. Brianna has her baby doll and Brady has his train.

Moving into our new home

We moved into our new home the beginning of March, but we have been so busy unpacking I'm just now putting this on the blog. Moving went well, but the unpacking is a slow difficult process. Here is Brianna helping Daddy load the Uhaul. Grandpa and Uncle Chris helped too- thanks so much!

Working on our new house

We closed on a house in Waco in the Speegleville area in December and we have been doing some work on it before we move out of our rent house and move in. It is a four bedroom, two bath home with a huge backyard! Here are some pics of the work in progress. Here is Brady's room. We painted it grey and navy. We took out the carpet so it is easier to paint now too.

Here is the guest bath. We are putting in new tile floor.

Here is the garage. Jeremy painted it grey and put epoxy on the floor. He loves how it turned out!

Here is the work in progress on the kitchen. You can see the new backsplash and we are putting in tile floor and new counter tops!

Here is Brianna's room. This is her closet. Her room we painted pink and purple!

Here is a pic of the front of the house. I still need to take one of the backyard. We look forward to moving in soon! It is so much easier getting the work done now while we are not living there and the kids aren't in the way!

Snow Day!

It started snowing last night and we woke up to a beautiful view!
Brady wasn't too trilled with the snow, he didn't like wearing gloves and then his hands got too cold when he took them off, so he didn't stay outside long.

Brianna liked it, but her hands got too cold too! Texans don't have snow gear!

They both still love Sesame Street as you can see. :)

Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful blessed Christmas this year! Brianna was so excited to run out Christmas morning and see what Santa left and that he ate his cookies! Brady got excited about opening his presents too! Brianna also had fun making a cake for Jesus and she really started to understand the nativity with opening a special advent calendar each day.
